Vorbereitet wurden die Dreharbeiten nach einem Erstkontakt auf der Techno Classica in Essen von Karla Schlier, Redakteurin bei der Motor Presse TV GmbH, K\u00f6ln, die auch als Sprecherin und Fahrerin des Autos mitgewirkt hat. Die Texte zum Film hat Karla Schlier mit ihrer k\u00fcnstlerischen Freiheit vorbereitet und vorgetragen, unser Jan stand f\u00fcr technische Daten und allgemeine Informationen zu seinem Polo zur Verf\u00fcgung. Dass Aufnahmetag fast durchweg regnerisch war, f\u00e4llt im fertigen Film kaum auf &#8211; der in einigen Szenen verwendete VW-Polo-Regenschirm und der Klappstuhl im Design der 70er Jahre stammen aus den originalen Best\u00e4nden unseres Clubmitgliedes.
